Stayin’ Alive:
The CPR Song You’ll Never Forget

You don’t have to be a doctor to save a life—you just need the right beat. CPR chest compressions should be 100 to 120 beats per minute, and one of the easiest ways to keep that tempo?
Sing “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees. Seriously—it’s a medically endorsed rhythm!
Other songs that work: “Dancing Queen,” “Another One Bites the Dust” (morbid, yes, but accurate), or “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” The point is to stay on beat and keep compressing until help arrives or an AED is in place. We even play these songs during class—it keeps training fun and memorable.
So next time you're grooving to disco, remember: that beat could save someone’s life.
